Spring Break

I am enjoying spring break so much! Fendley and all of her appointments are keeping me busy but we are still having fun. For therapy today, Fendley got to do it in the pool. She loved it! Ms. Janna put her under for the first time! She is making so much progress!




After therapy we did a little shopping then met Daddy for lunch at Feltner Brothers. Fendley had to have a grilled cheese! She loves grilled cheese! Love this sweet face!

I'm Back....again!

I am promising to be back for good this time. I am going to make a point to blog at least once a week. I promise!

Update from Little Rock Trip

Well we made it home safely with good news. We went to see a cranial specialist to see if Fendley needed a helmet since she has favored her left side and has a flat spot. The doctor basically left it up to us to decide which of course I wanted her opinion! She said to wait a couple months because she isn't for sure a helmet would fix it as well doing these stretches that she showed us. So that was good news! I am busy getting back into the swing of things! Excited about a new school year but will miss my sweet girl dearly! Tomorrow is a practice day of getting into the swing! So I best head to bed!

I am back for real this time!

Ok. I am really going to work on keeping my blog up to date now! Stay tuned for some updates. Fendley is growing so much and is learning so much too! She is very verbal! She is trying to repeat different words we say! She can repeat uh oh, bye, hey, and this sound that she makes with her lips that sounds like a car. When we say, make a car sound, she will try to do it. Well, I thought I would get on here while I was waiting on her to fall asleep and she has now so I best get to sleep! Good night!

Yes, we are back! Our house got struck by lightning a couple of months ago and we got the internet going again, finally! Be looking for some more updates in the next couple of days!

Fendley Kate Hall is here!!

Well I know it has been a while since I have been on here because I have been SUPER busy with the birth of our little girl! Fendley Kate Hall arrived October 3 at 11:24 a.m. was 6 pounds 7 ounces and 18 3/4 inches long. She is perfect! She is a mixture of both mommy and daddy! She was breech so I would have had a c-section anyways. We are doing good. I am just struggling with figuring out her schedule and adjusting myself.

Reality Check!!!

Yes, Keith and I have had a reality check today after going to the doctor!!! Sorry I haven't been updating because nothing is really happening. Things are still not happening but there is a slight problem. Fendley is getting bigger but my body is not responding that I need to go into labor. So we went to the doctor today and she checked me and I had not changed AGAIN!!! So she started to listen to the heartbeat and was having a hard time finding it. She finally found it. She said, "She is getting big." We said, "How big?" She said probably about 8 1/2 pounds right now!!! So she sit down and thought about it and said my chances for a c-section is getting higher because I am not showing any sign of going into labor anytime soon, Fendley is getting bigger, and my pelvic area is very narrow. So, she said that I will probably have to have a c-section. I told her whatever she thought was best. So, she said to come back first thing Monday morning for her to check me and if I have not changed, she will do a c-section Monday so bring my bags!! WHOA!!! So, this time next week, Keith and I could a precious little baby. If I have changed, she will monitor me closely and won't let me go but a couple more days. So, I am still trying to let this sink in!!! So we are busy getting last minute things ready. Just a little nervous about it but I know God is in control! So at 8:30 on Monday, we will see if we get to meet Fendley Kate!!

Another Update!!

I am sorry but I have been slacking again with my updates!!! School starting and getting closer to having this baby is consuming alot of my time. Anyways, we went to the doctor today to get "checked." Well, I am not dilated and the efface is around 30%. Dr. Partridge said that I probably won't have her in the next week. However, her head is in position ready. She said to go ahead and get the car seat in the car and pack my bags. I also asked about my sore ankle and she said it probably won't get better until after I have the baby. :( On a good note, I only gained a pound!! Yay! I think that is the least I have gained the entire time!! Also, Keith behaved himself too during the appointment! I will try to update some here in a couple of days and post some pictures from my showers!! Until then, God Bless!!

Long Lost Update!!

Well, I am sorry that I have not updated in a couple of weeks. The last time I was going to update I couldn't sign on and hadn't tried since. Well, here is a recap. School has started back which means I am SUPER tired!! We went to our labor and delivery class which was scary on my part but Keith thought it was pretty interesting. Now he is making me do this lovely exercises every night!! I told him I get plenty of exercise at school each day!! I had a dr. appointment last Wednesday and I got to see Dr. Partridge! She said that I was measuring right on track! I have another appointment Wednesday and then we start the weekly appointments and start to see if I am dilated....after she said that it kind of sunk in that it is about to be here!

I have my showers scheduled that will be happening in the next couple of weeks! I am excited about those! Fendley is really moving around and of course Daddy knows how to get her moving if she isn't but he picks times like when I am trying to lay down and go to sleep!! UGH!!

I have made a decision to send Fendley to a woman who has an in home daycare that only keeps teachers' kids. Several teachers at my school have used her. I went by her house and you can tell the kids really love her and she only keeps 5 kids or less. Fendley will be the youngest. There are three others that are there full time that around the age of two. I am thinking that Fendley will have some mother hens taking care of her there!

Well, I must get off here and do my exercises!! So good night!!

Two months!!

Well, two months from today, our little Fendley Kate is suppose to be here! We shall see if she decides to come early, right on time, or be tardy. We are very anxious for her to come but I am a little scared at the same time. Fendley was sure letting me know last night that she was feeling good! She woke me up at 3:30 and kept me up until 5:30. I guess she is preparing me for what is to come?? She is really starting to drain my energy! I can not do as much as what I once could which is a little frustrating!!! Well, I guess I may be hitting the sack early tonight seeing I didn't get a full night's sleep. Good night all!

More Updates!!

Well, Fendley's nursery is really coming along!! I am a little sad that it is coming to a end. Here are a few more pictures from this weekend.

Here is a picture of the mirror and dresser that is in Fendley's room. The camel sitting on the dresser is from The Passion Play in Eureka! I can tell Fendley I carried her up and down those stairs at the Passion Play in the middle of July!! Whew!! That was a journey!

Nursery Update!

Well, Fendley's room is really coming along! I am kind of sad to say but we are about finished! :( We finished with the zebra print on the wall and I got my two canvas this week that I LOVE! This evening, Mom came over and we hung her name above her bed and some smaller canvas on the zebra wall that Keith finished up this evening. Keith is working on installing a new ceiling fan for her room. Here are a few pictures of what all we have been doing.

Our waiter was very impressive!! He always remembered that Keith wanted his steak with no sauce and an order of fries! He remembered our names after the first night because we saw him up on the pool deck the next day and he yelled "Hey Keith!" We had EXCELLENT service from everyone on the cruise ship!!


We really enjoyed the cruise and hope to go on another one soon and take Fendley. We ate really good which is always a plus! We were ready to get off after 6 days so that would be our limit on a cruise ship but it was fun!

Another Dr. Visit!

Well, we had another doctor's visit today! We didn't get to see our normal doctor because she is on vacation and boy did I miss seeing her! As Keith says, that was the shortest dr. visit we have had so far! lol The dr. we saw just checked the heartbeat and it was around 150 again! Also, we made our last 4 week appointment. Next time, we will start making our two week appointments until the last month and then it will be one week appointments. Fendley will be here before we know it! Her room is finally coming together. Mom and I are working on stenciling brown zebra print on half of one of the walls. I am also having the youth pastor's wife from my church to paint two canvas to go on the wall. Well, I better get off of here and get some more work done!

The Last Piece...Fendley's Dresser!!

Hip, Hip, Hooray!!! Keith put Fendley's last piece of furniture together today!! Yay! It took him about 2 hours for this one but it was pretty easy!! Now it is time to decorate! Mom came over today and painted half of the trim and I think we or I guess I should say she will finish the rest tomorrow. I am feeling really good right now because I feel as though we are getting some things done!! Now, Keith can go racing this weekend since he did all this work this week!! hehe Here are a few pics!

Fendley's Changing Table

Next, Keith put together the changing table which took less time than the crib! Here are a few pics!

Fendley now has a crib to sleep in. Keith was able to put together the crib in only 50 minutes! Here are a few pics from him putting it together!

Over the 4th of July weekend, Keith made a trip to Wichita, Kansas for a CDRA race. Before he left, he told me that if he won, he would buy me a nice camera for when Fendley is born. Well....he had to buy me a new camera because he won! I was so proud of him! Especially after making that long trip! Wish I could have been there for the pic but I will post it below!

Katie's Visit!

My lovely sister Katie came in for a visit. She was here from Saturday-Thursday. We had a lot of fun and did lots of shopping and looking for Fendley. Here are some pics from her visit!
